Summary
CVE-2024-24574 is a vulnerability affecting phpMyFAQ, an open-source FAQ web application for PHP 8.1 and above, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other databases. The issue lies in the file "attachments.php" within the "admin" directory, which unsafely echoes filenames. This security flaw allows an attacker to inject and execute JavaScript code in a client-side Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack. This vulnerability has been mitigated in version 3.2.5 of phpMyFAQ.
