Summary

CVE-2024-2433 is an improper authorization vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks Panorama software. It affects the web interface of the management plane and allows an authenticated read-only administrator to upload files, filling up one of the disk partitions. As a result, it becomes impossible to log into the web interface or download PAN-OS, WildFire, and content images. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of MEDIUM and a base score of 4.3 according to CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L. The exploitability score is 2.8, and the potential danger to organizations is considered low in terms of privileges required, user interaction, attack complexity, integrity impact, and confidentiality impact.
