Summary
CVE-2024-2426 is a denial-of-service vulnerability found in the Rockwell Automation PowerFlex® 527. This vulnerability is caused by improper input validation in the device, which can lead to a disruption in the CIP communication. To recover from this issue, a manual restart will be required by the user. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of HIGH and an exploitability score of 3.9.
