Summary
CVE-2024-24254 is a race condition vulnerability affecting PX4 Autopilot versions 1.14 and earlier. The issue arises due to the absence of a synchronization mechanism for loading geofence data in the geofence.cpp and mission_feasibility_checker.cpp files. Consequently, drones may upload overlapping geofences and mission routes, leading to potential safety risks and unintended drone behavior.
