Summary
CVE-2024-24189 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Jsish v3.5.0. This issue stems from a use-after-free bug in the SplitChar function located at ./src/jsiUtils.c. When a character is split, the memory previously allocated to it may still be in use, leading to undefined behavior and potential memory corruption. Exploitation of this vulnerability could result in arbitrary code execution or denial of service. Users are advised to update to a patched version of Jsish as soon as possible.
