Summary

CVE-2024-24024 is an arbitrary file download vulnerability that affects Novel-Plus v4.3.0-RC1 and earlier versions. The vulnerability resides in the com.java2nb.common.controller.FileController: fileDownload() function, allowing an attacker to exploit specially crafted filePath and fileName parameters to perform arbitrary file downloads. The vulnerability has a base severity of CRITICAL with a base score of 9.8 according to [email protected]. It does not require any privileges and does not require user interaction, making it accessible remotely through a network attack vector.
