Summary

CVE-2024-23895 is a vulnerability in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0. The vulnerability allows for user-controlled inputs to be inadequately encoded, resulting in a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability through the locationid parameter in /cupseasylive/locationcreate.php. This exploit could enable a remote attacker to send a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user and steal their session cookie credentials. The base severity of this vulnerability is rated as high, with a base score of 8.2 out of 10.
