Summary
CVE-2024-23895 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0. This issue arises due to insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs, leading to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The vulnerability can be exploited via the /cupseasylive/locationcreate.php page, specifically the locationid parameter. An attacker, once successful in exploitation, can steal an authenticated user's session cookie credentials, enabling unauthorized access to the affected system.
