Summary
CVE-2024-23894 is a newly reported vulnerability affecting Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0. This issue arises due to insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs, leading to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Specifically, an attacker can exploit this flaw by crafting malicious URLs for the /cupseasylive/stockissuancecreate.php endpoint, which can be sent to authenticated users. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could enable the attacker to steal the victim's session cookie credentials. This poses a significant risk, as unauthorized access to these credentials can lead to unauthorized actions within the affected system.
