Summary

CVE-2024-23881 is a newly reported vulnerability affecting Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory), version 1.0. This issue involves insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs on the /cupseasylive/statelist.php page, leading to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker, who successfully exploits this flaw, can craft a malicious URL and send it to an authenticated user. Upon clicking the URL, the user's session cookie credentials may be stolen, allowing the attacker unauthorized access to their account.
