Summary

CVE-2024-23873 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability found in Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0. The vulnerability occurs due to insufficient encoding of user-controlled inputs in the currencyid parameter of the /cupseasylive/currencymodify.php URL. Exploiting this vulnerability could enable a remote attacker to send a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user and steal their session cookie credentials. The affected product is Cups Easy version 1.0, and the recommended remedy is to apply updates or patches provided by the vendor. This vulnerability has a base severity rating of MEDIUM according to NIST's National Vulnerability Database (NVD).
