Summary
CVE-2024-23871 is a newly reported vulnerability affecting Cups Easy (Purchase & Inventory) version 1.0. The issue lies in the lack of sufficient input encoding, making it possible for an attacker to inject malicious scripts through the description parameter in the /cupseasylive/unitofmeasurementmodify.php file. Successful exploitation could lead to the theft of session cookie credentials, enabling unauthorized access to authenticated user accounts.
