Summary
CVE-2024-23840 is a vulnerability affecting GoReleaser, a tool used to build, release, and manage Go binaries. During the release process, GoReleaser creates a GitHub release and pushes a Homebrew formula to a tap repository. In certain instances, the `goreleaser release --debug` log unintentionally reveals secret values used in the custom publisher. This issue has been rectified in the latest version 1.24.0.
