Summary

CVE-2024-23816 is a vulnerability that affects multiple versions of the Location Intelligence Perpetual and Location Intelligence SUS software products. These products use a hard-coded secret value for the computation of a Keyed-Hash Message Authentication Code (HMAC), which can be exploited by an unauthenticated remote attacker. This vulnerability could potentially allow the attacker to gain full administrative access to the application. The base severity of this vulnerability is rated as CRITICAL, with high impact on both integrity and confidentiality. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their affected software versions to V4.3 or later.
