Summary
A vulnerability with the CVE ID CVE-2024-23801 has been discovered in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation versions V2201 and V2302. The vulnerability is related to a null pointer dereference issue in the parsing of specially crafted SPP files. If exploited, an attacker could cause the application to crash, leading to a denial of service condition. The affected products are Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2201 and V2302 (versions below V2302.0007). To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to update to a version higher than V2302.0007.
