Summary

CVE-2024-23684 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting the DecodeFromBytes function in the com.upokecenter.cbor Java implementation of Concise Binary Object Representation (CBOR) versions 4.0.0 to 4.5.1. An attacker can exploit this inefficiency in algorithmic complexity to cause a denial-of-service condition. This vulnerability may be exploited remotely if the application utilizes this library improperly.
