Prior to commit 94ba0dadc2cf38e8f81c3936974c167219878edd, the plugin is susceptible to admin-initiated SSRF attacks. Versions of the plugin that include commit 94ba0dadc2cf38e8f81c3936974c167219878edd have a patch to address this vulnerability. As a workaround, users can disable the discourse-ai plugin. The vulnerability has a risk score of 5 and a base severity of MEDIUM, with high privileges required for exploitation and no user interaction necessary.
