Summary
CVE-2024-23641 is a vulnerability affecting SvelteKit, a web development kit. When sending a GET request with a body, such as `{}`, to a built and previewed or hosted SvelteKit 2 application, the app crashes and requires manual restart. TRACE requests also cause this issue. However, prerendered pages and SvelteKit 1 applications remain unaffected. This vulnerability affects specific versions of `@sveltejs/adapter-node` (2.1.2, 3.0.3, and 4.0.1) and `@sveltejs/kit` (2.4.3), which have been patched to address this issue.
