Summary

CVE-2024-23637 is a vulnerability found in OctoPrint, a web interface for 3D printers. This vulnerability affects versions up until and including 1.9.3 of OctoPrint. It allows malicious administrators to change the password of other admin accounts, including their own, without having to repeat their password. This can lead to potential dangers for organizations as an attacker who hijacks an admin account could lock out actual administrators from their OctoPrint instances. The vulnerability will be patched in version 1.10.0 of OctoPrint.
