Summary
CVE-2024-23182 is a recently disclosed vulnerability affecting multiple versions of the a-blog CMS. This relative path traversal issue puts servers running a-blog CMS versions prior to 3.1.7, 3.0.29, 2.11.58, 2.10.50, and 2.9.0 at risk. An authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to delete arbitrary files, potentially leading to serious data loss or system compromise. The vulnerability occurs due to the CMS's failure to properly validate user input during file handling operations. It is strongly recommended that affected users upgrade their CMS to the patched versions as soon as possible.
