Summary
CVE-2024-22876 is a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 5.1.0 to 5.1.9 and 5.2.0 to 5.2.8 of TheHive. An attacker can exploit this issue by uploading a malicious HTML file containing JavaScript code through the attachment functionality. Once executed, the code runs in the context of The Hive application, potentially coercing a victim into performing specific actions, such as granting administrator privileges.
