Summary

CVE-2024-2280 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Better Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress. Versions up to and including 1.4.1 are impacted. This issue arises from insufficient sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied link URL values in widgets. Consequently, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above can inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
