Summary
CVE-2024-22749 is a newly identified buffer overflow vulnerability affecting GPAC v2.3. The issue is located in the function gf_isom_new_generic_sample_description within isomedia/isom_write.c at line 4577. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by supplying specially crafted input to trigger the buffer overflow, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution and system compromise.
