Summary
CVE-2024-22715 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Stupid Simple CMS versions below 1.2.5. The issue involves a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) security flaw in the /admin-edit.php component. An attacker can exploit this by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted website, which in turn allows the attacker to execute unauthorized actions on the affected CMS installation. This can result in data modification, unauthorized access, or other malicious activities. Users are advised to upgrade their CMS to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
