Summary
CVE-2024-2249 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the LA-Studio Element Kit plugin for Elementor in WordPress. This issue, present in several widgets up to version 1.3.7.4, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions to inject malicious scripts via the LinkWrapper attribute due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Successful exploitation can result in the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
