Summary

CVE-2024-2242 is a vulnerability affecting the Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress in versions up to and including 5.9. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit Reflected Cross-Site Scripting by manipulating the 'active-tab' parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This can result in the injection of arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user performs an action, such as clicking on a link.
