Summary

CVE-2024-22236 is a vulnerability found in Spring Cloud Contract versions 4.1.x, 4.0.x, and 3.1.x. This vulnerability allows for local information disclosure through the creation of a temporary directory with unsafe permissions. The issue is caused by the shaded com.google.guava:guava dependency in the org.springframework.cloud:spring-cloud-contract-shade dependency. A total of 29 affected products have been identified. The base severity of this vulnerability is rated as low, with a base score of 3.3 out of 10.
