Summary

CVE-2024-22234: In Spring Security versions 6.1.x up to 6.1.7 and 6.2.x up to 6.2.2, there is a broken access control vulnerability. Applications directly using AuthenticationTrustResolver's isFullyAuthenticated(Authentication) method with a null authentication parameter can result in an erroneous true return value. Applications not using this method directly or passing a null authentication are not affected. This issue can potentially lead to unauthorized access.
