Summary
CVE-2024-22199 is a vulnerability affecting the Fiber web framework's Views interface when using multiple template engines. This issue puts web applications at risk of Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, particularly those rendering user-supplied data. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input validation, allowing malicious scripts to execute in users' browsers. Thankfully, an update to the template engine, which now defaults to autoescaping, mitigates the risk.
