Summary
CVE-2024-21782 is a vulnerability affecting BIG-IP or BIG-IQ Resource Administrators and Certificate Managers who have access to the secure copy (scp) utility but not to the Advanced shell (bash). This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands using a specially crafted command string. The vulnerability is caused by an incomplete fix for CVE-2020-5873. Software versions that have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated for this vulnerability. The risk score for this vulnerability is 25, with a base severity of MEDIUM.
