Summary
CVE-2024-21668 is a vulnerability that affects the react-native-mmkv library before version 2.11.0. The vulnerability allows the encryption key for the MMKV database to be logged into the Android system log, which can be accessed by anyone with ADB enabled on their phone. This issue poses a potential danger to organizations as attackers can easily retrieve the encryption secret and undermine an app's thread model. To remediate this vulnerability, organizations should update to version 2.11.0 of react-native-mmkv, which includes a fix for this issue.
