Summary

CVE-2024-21606 is a Double Free vulnerability in the flow processing daemon (flowd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series. It affects all versions earlier than 20.4R3-S8, as well as various other versions. This network-based, unauthenticated vulnerability allows an attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by crashing and restarting flowd. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of HIGH, with a base score of 7.5 according to [email protected]. The exploitability score is 3.9, and the impact score is 3.6.
