Summary
CVE-2024-21522 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting all versions of the audify package. The issue lies in the improper validation of array indices in the OpusDecoder().decode and OpusDecoder().decodeFloat functions. This vulnerability occurs when the frameSize parameter is provided with negative values, leading to an unchecked array index. Consequences of this vulnerability include process crashes. Developers are advised to upgrade to the latest version of audify as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
