Summary
CVE-2024-21441 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Microsoft's Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) OLE DB provider for SQL Server. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted data to a target system, allowing them to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the SQL Server service. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized system access, data theft, or further attacks against the organization's network.
