Summary
CVE-2024-21428 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting SQL Server Native Client OLE DB Provider. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted OLE DB request to a targeted SQL Server instance. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the underlying system, leading to potential data theft or server compromise.
