Summary
CVE-2024-2141 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder – Lite plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 1.5.7, enables authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the Button widget. Consequently, an attacker can execute arbitrary web scripts on pages, posing a significant security risk for WordPress sites using this plugin.
