Summary
CVE-2024-21353 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Microsoft's Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) ODBC Driver. The issue grants an attacker the ability to execute arbitrary code remotely by exploiting a vulnerability in the driver's handling of ODBC connections. Successful exploitation could result in the attacker gaining control of the compromised system, potentially leading to data theft or further system compromise.
