Summary

CVE-2024-2129 is a vulnerability found in the WPBITS Addons For Elementor Page Builder plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.3.4.2 of the plugin. The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These injected scripts execute whenever a user accesses an affected page. The risk score associated with this vulnerability is 25, with a base severity of MEDIUM.
