Summary

CVE-2024-2128 is a vulnerability found in the EmbedPress – Embed PDF, Google Docs, Vimeo, Wistia, Embed YouTube Videos, Audios, Maps & Embed Any Documents in Gutenberg & Elementor plugin for WordPress. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 3.9.10 of the plugin. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts through the plugin's embed widget. The injected scripts can execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The risk score for this vulnerability is 25, indicating a medium level of severity.
