Summary
CVE-2024-2120 is a vulnerability affecting the Elementor Website Builder plugin for WordPress, specifically the Post Navigation widget. The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This vulnerability exists in all versions of the plugin up to and including 3.20.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. The potential danger of this vulnerability lies in the execution of injected scripts whenever a user accesses an affected page.
