Summary
CVE-2024-21061 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Oracle MySQL Server's Audit Plug-in. This issue, with a base score of 4.9 (Availability impacts), is considered easily exploitable. Affected versions include 8.0.35 and prior as well as 8.2.0 and prior. A high-privileged attacker, who can access the server via multiple protocols, can leverage this vulnerability to cause a hang or frequent crashes of MySQL Server, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) condition.
