Summary

CVE-2024-21005 is a vulnerability in the Oracle Java SE and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition products. It affects versions 8u401 of Oracle Java SE, as well as versions 20.3.13 and 21.3.9 of Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. This vulnerability can be difficult to exploit and requires human interaction from someone other than the attacker. If successfully exploited, it could result in unauthorized access to data within the affected products. This vulnerability specifically applies to Java deployments that run sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets that load and run untrusted code from the internet.
