Summary

CVE-2024-20986 is a vulnerability in the Oracle WebLogic Server product of Oracle Fusion Middleware. The affected versions are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.1.0.0. This vulnerability can be easily exploited by an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP, allowing them to compromise the Oracle WebLogic Server. Successful attacks require human interaction from someone other than the attacker, and while the vulnerability is in Oracle WebLogic Server, it can also significantly impact other products. Exploiting this vulnerability can lead to unauthorized access to data, including update, insert, delete access, as well as unauthorized read access to some data.
