CVE-2024-20979 is a vulnerability in the Oracle BI Publisher product of Oracle Analytics. The affected versions are 6.4.0.0.0, 7.0.0.0.0, and 12.2.1.4.0. This vulnerability can be easily exploited by a low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP, allowing them to compromise Oracle BI Publisher. The successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data accessible by Oracle BI Publisher, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of the data.
