Summary

CVE-2024-20899 is a newly disclosed cybersecurity vulnerability affecting the RCS (Rich Communication Services) function in IMS (Internet Multimedia Subsystem) services. Prior to the SMR (Secure Multi-party Computing) Jul-2024 Release 1, this issue allows local attackers to exploit the use of implicit intent for sensitive communication. As a result, attackers can gain unauthorized access to confidential information.
