Summary
CVE-2024-20729 is a Use After Free vulnerability that affects Acrobat Reader versions 20.005.30539, 23.008.20470, and earlier. This issue could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user, following successful exploitation. The vulnerability is triggered when the software fails to properly manage memory resources, leading to a memory leak. To exploit this weakness, a victim must open a specially crafted malicious file.
