Summary

CVE-2024-20685 is a recently disclosed vulnerability affecting Azure Private 5G Core. This issue permits an attacker to execute a Denial of Service (DoS) attack against the targeted Azure Private 5G Core network. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient input validation in the Azure Private 5G Core component. An adversary can exploit this weakness by sending maliciously crafted packets to the affected system, causing it to crash or become unresponsive.
