Summary

CVE-2024-20394 is a vulnerability in Cisco AppDynamics Network Visibility Agent that could allow an unauthenticated, local attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. The vulnerability stems from the agent's inability to handle unexpected input. An attacker with local device access can exploit this vulnerability by sending an HTTP request to the targeted service, resulting in a DoS condition by stopping the Network Agent Service on the local device. The affected products are m_Vn97 and v9TSzp. To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to apply the necessary patches or updates provided by Cisco.
