Summary
CVE-2024-20315 is a vulnerability in the access control list (ACL) processing on MPLS interfaces in Cisco IOS XR Software. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass a configured ACL. It is caused by improper assignment of lookup keys to internal interface contexts. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending traffic through an affected device, which could give them access to protected resources behind the device. The base severity of this vulnerability is rated as MEDIUM, with a base score of 5.8 according to CVSS version 3.1.
