Summary

CVE-2024-20301 is a vulnerability in Cisco Duo Authentication for Windows Logon and RDP. It allows an authenticated, physical attacker to bypass secondary authentication and gain unauthorized access to a Windows device. The vulnerability occurs because trusted sessions created locally are not invalidated after a device reboot. An attacker with primary user credentials can exploit this by attempting to authenticate to the affected device, resulting in unauthorized access without valid permissions. This vulnerability has a base severity of MEDIUM, with high impact on integrity and confidentiality. The affected product is k95WII.
