Details
Summary
CVE-2024-20291 is a vulnerability affecting the access control lists (ACLs) of port channel subinterfaces on Cisco Nexus 3000 and 9000 Series Switches in standalone NX-OS mode. This issue arises due to incorrect hardware programming when configuration changes are made to port channel member ports. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending traffic that should be blocked through an affected device. Successful exploitation could grant the attacker access to network resources that are protected by an ACL applied on port channel subinterfaces.
